Common mistakes

- Wrong end-of-shift activity (rest vs available) — affects daily limit calculation.
- Missing the 'out of scope' switch when on a non-tachograph journey.
Before an inspection
- Driver card inserted, name + photo match driver.
- Last 28 days available — print roll loaded.
- Driver Qualification Card (CPC) in date.
- Driver licence in date + matching category (C/C+E).
- Vehicle registration + insurance current.
- CMR signed by sender + driver.
- ADR transport documents if applicable (TREMCard, manifest).
- Tachograph calibration sticker visible + in date.
